Award winning Organic Extra Virgin Olive oil, Tuscany
This single estate organic olive oil can truly be described as ‘olive juice’. Produced by the Galardi family at their farm ‘La Fattoria di Poggiopiano’ the olives are hand picked one by one in November when the colour varies from green to light violet.
It has been selected on numerous occasions by the Chamber of Commerce in Florence to represent Tuscany in some of the largest exhibitions in Europe; SOL-VINITALY and SIAL in Paris. It is also listed in the Golden Guide to Extra Virgin Olive Oils.
Olives used: 60% Frantoio, 30% Moraiolo, 10% Leccino
Extraction: Cold continuous press
Flavour: Herbaceous, fresh olive with a hint of young artichoke, round and persuasive in maturity.
Enjoy served on fresh salads, various meats, fish, vegetables and boiled legumes. It will also add a special touch to pasta sauces. Because of its intense flavour only small quantities are required to add aroma and flavour to any dish.
